Features Editor - Cincinnati Magazine

Cincinnati Magazine is looking for an experienced features editor to expand its team. Knowledge of Cincinnati is not essential, but previous experience with a city or regional magazine is helpful. The ideal candidate will:
Excel at editing complex, long-form magazine features. We’re looking for an editor with a jones for literary nonfiction who knows how to bring out the best in a writer’s work.
Be able to generate fresh ideas, articulate assignments with clarity, and top-edit the resulting stories.
Have ideally five years of editing and/or writing experience under their belt, preferably with a magazine.
Work well with deadlines, details, and colleagues.

Show us what you can do. We’d like to see clips of your own writing plus two before-and-after editing samples from published work.
